Annual Scottish House Price Growth Hit 6.2% In March 2022

Annual house price growth hit 6.2% in March, according to the latest Walker Fraser Steele Acadata House Price Index (Scotland), with Inverclyde’s year on year growth totalling 9.6%.

Overall 31 of 32 Local Authority Areas continue to see price increases over the past 12 months, with Inverclyde seeing a 3.6% monthly increase seeing the average home rising to £161,524.

Argyll and Bute rose to 12th place with an average house sale of £218,535, with Renfrewshire at 25th with £169,059 and North Ayrshire currently 32nd at £150,140.

The average home in Scotland now costs £218,992.
