Bowman Rebecchi Welcomes Two New Summer Interns For 2023
Inverclyde’s leading property business, Bowman Rebecchi has welcomed two new interns as part of its partnership with Career Ready – a national social mobility charity that supports young people to get into work.
The programme provides support to young people as they transition from S5 into S6 with a paid month-long internship alongside 18 months of mentoring support from the business.
Bowman Rebecchi launched its programme in 2021-22, in collaboration with Port Glasgow High School and Career Ready, which supports over 1,200 young people through a targeted programme of paid internships, mentoring, workplace visits, and skills masterclasses.
The property firm has now welcomed Rhys Morgan & Chelsy Learie (pictured above) as its two new interns for 2022-23, with the internship taking place across July 2023 based at Bowman Rebecchi’s Inverclyde office in Gourock.
Reflecting on the opportunity 16-Year-Old Rhys Morgan said:
“I’m excited to get working with Bowman Rebecchi underway and looking forward to learning more about the business.
“This is a great opportunity to develop my skills that I will be able to transfer into my future career and support my options.”
The internship will cover a variety of departments, including residential and commercial property, architectural services, advertising, and marketing in line with the business operations.
Currently transitioning into S6 at Port Glasgow High School, Chelsy & Rhys are looking forward to spending the next four weeks at Bowman Rebecchi and hope to gather new experiences that they can take into their future careers.
Working within the team and supported by a dedicated line manager and mentor, this year's interns will have the opportunity to meet and network with colleagues, develop important employability skills, and contribute to team projects.
16-Year-Old Chelsy Learie said:
