Bruce Glenny And Friends Round Off Successful 2023 With Town Hall Gig

Summer Friends Productions concluded its year of top-class gigs with a boiler-room-style event at Greenock Town Hall on Friday.

DJs Doddie and Warnock opened the night up, and Nick McDougall followed before Magnus Kermack made his Greenock debut keeping the near crowd of 200 going.

Gourock DJ, Bruce Glenny took to the decks at 10pm to finish off his UK tour which saw him play in London, Edinburgh, Newcastle, and Glasgow.

Bruce said: “I’m really happy the final gig of the year is in Greenock Town Hall.

“It’s the biggest production we have put together and would certainly not have been possible without our sponsors, which included Bowman Rebecchi, Barber & Groom, and Shipyard Gin.

“A massive thanks is due to all the sponsors for their support and I look forward to working with them again in the future.

“It’s been an unbelievable year with highlights such as playing in Miami, being interviewed on Go Radio, and having my latest mix critiqued by top-class music producers from the Tool Room Academy live on YouTube.

“I can only hope that the success continues into 2024.”

All profits from the gig will go to Ardgowan Hospice.
