McGill’s Group Donates Easter Eggs To Home-Start Charity

An Inverclyde-based transport firm made Easter a little sweeter for youngsters in need with a big-hearted donation to a local charity.

The team at McGill's Buses gifted a total of 150 Easter eggs to families who are supported by Home-Start Inverclyde.

Staff at the company worked closely with colleagues at Home-Start to make sure the seasonal chocolate treats were delivered to families just in time for the Easter holidays.

The Inverclyde-based charity provides vital assistance to families with young children, helping them through challenging times and supporting them to build brighter futures.

Home-Start family co-ordinator Julie Gillan said the eggs brought 'extra Easter joy' to local families.

She added: "We just want to say a big heartfelt thank-you to McGill's for the very generous donation of Easter eggs.

"The thoughtful contribution helped to bring joy, smiles, and a special treat to lots of little ones in our community this Easter.

"We are very grateful, not only for this gesture, but for McGill's providing us with ongoing support.

"Their commitment to giving back makes a meaningful difference in the lives of the children and families we support.

"We're proud to have McGill's as a valued community partner, and look forward to sharing photos of a lot of chocolatey faces with the team."

Sandy and James Easdale, owners of McGill's Group, are long-time supporters of Home-Start Inverclyde.

They said the donation demonstrates the firm's ongoing support for community-focused organisations and its dedication to making a positive impact across Inverclyde.

Sandy said: "Home-Start Inverclyde continues to do incredible work supporting families across our community.

"We're always proud to lend our support and to help brighten Easter for the children and families they work with."

James added: "It's important to us that McGill's gives back to the communities we're part of.

"Simple gestures like this can go a long way, and we were delighted to play a part in bringing some joy to local families this Easter."
