Proposals For House in Inverkip Given Go Ahead

Designs for a large new detached house on the outskirts of Inverkip have been approved by planners.

The proposal involves a site within the grounds of the Bell House, Langhouse Road.

Permission for the principle of developing a house there had previously been given by Inverclyde Planning Board last September.

Consent for detailed designs was still required and proposals for a four-bedroom property, submitted by Rebecchi Architectural, have now been given permission by Inverclyde Council officials.

There was a building on the site in the 1960s but it was demolished, leaving the old foundations in place.
