Coffee Shop And New Shop Front Proposal For Former Pharmacy

A bid to turn the former Inverkip Pharmacy into a coffee shop has been lodged with Inverclyde Council.

A 'change of use' application seeking to turn the unit that once housed the village's chemist and convenience store into a shop with a sales area, toilet, and a wash-up and prep area has been submitted for planning approval.

Documents submitted as part of the application by Rebecchi Architectural show a new shopfront bearing the name 'Kip Coffee' with seating for up to 18 people internally.

Kip Coffee would be open from 8am to 8pm, Monday to Friday, 9am to 8pm on Saturdays, and 9am to 6pm on Sundays.

The centrally located property was sold by Bowman Rebecchi earlier this year.
